Journées de la persévérance scolaire, known as Hooked on School Days or Perseverance Week in English, is celebrated every year across Québec. It happens during the third week of February, approximately halfway through the school year. This time in the winter months can feel long—and some students might need extra motivation to push through.
The week encourages young people’s academic success—and reminding students of the community of support that believes in them can really make a difference.
This year, Journées de la persévérance scolaire was celebrated from February 13 to 17th, and Pathways Canada’s Marketing team launched a new social media campaign to increase awareness in the province. Through Instagram and Facebook ads in French, viewers were invited to add their names to our board of support.

English Translation:

Thanks to our community of supporters, volunteers, and Pathways Program Partners, we are helping more students achieve their high school diplomas each year. Share the Board of Support with students to remind them of all the people that believe in their success.
