Q&A with Pathways Canada’s new CiMO: Subagini Sivapatham

In June, we welcomed Subagini Sivapatham as Pathways Canada’s inaugural Chief Impact Officer. With over two decades of non-profit leadership experience, Subagini will drive impact at Pathways through programming and research efforts, and will work alongside Program Partners to inform enhancements to the program.

This month, Subagini sat down with us to share more about her experience in the sector and what she’s most looking forward to learning from Pathways Program teams.

Hear a program staff’s reflections on creating a student-oriented graduation celebration

In Spryfield, our goal with graduation is to make it as student-oriented as possible and highlight the student’s accomplishments, resiliency, persistence, and determination that got them to that point.

Seeing firsthand the obstacles and barriers that many of our students faced and will continue to do so, we use graduation as an opportunity to highlight everything they have achieved in their time with us and to remind them that wherever they go, they belong there.
