Dans le cadre du Mois de l\u2019histoire et de l\u2019avenir des Noirs \u00e0 Passeport, nous c\u00e9l\u00e9brons la m\u00e9moire d\u2019une amie ch\u00e8re de notre programme, Judith Brown, d\u00e9c\u00e9d\u00e9e en octobre dernier. Judith \u00e9tait une \u00e9ducatrice, une administratrice et une d\u00e9fenseure infatigable des communaut\u00e9s africaines et carib\u00e9ennes \u00e0 Queens et dans la communaut\u00e9. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dans les d\u00e9buts de Passeport pour ma r\u00e9ussite, Judith et l\u2019Afro-Caribe Community Foundation de Kingston ont invit\u00e9 notre programme \u00e0 l'\u00e9v\u00e9nement annuel Saveurs d\u2019Afrique et des Cara\u00efbes pour c\u00e9l\u00e9brer et d\u00e9couvrir la nourriture et la culture africaines et carib\u00e9ennes. Judith a toujours \u00e9t\u00e9 si accueillante et vraiment inspirante par la fa\u00e7on dont elle a encourag\u00e9 nos \u00e9l\u00e8ves \u00e0 s\u2019impliquer dans l\u2019\u00e9v\u00e9nement. Les \u00e9l\u00e8ves avaient toujours h\u00e2te \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9v\u00e9nement, et nombre d\u2019entre eux y faisaient du b\u00e9n\u00e9volat ann\u00e9e apr\u00e8s ann\u00e9e.
