Pathways Canada 2024 Holiday Card: Call for Student Artwork Submissions

With the holiday season around the corner, Pathways Canada is once again looking to engage Pathways students to design the artwork for our annual holiday card to supporters of the program. Since we started the initiative, the submissions have blown us away each year!

Students who participate will receive a $30 honorarium. The student(s) whose artwork we choose to feature in our holiday communications to Pathways supporters or a future donor update will receive a $150 honorarium. Students will be able to choose either an Amazon e-gift card or an e-Transfer for their honorarium.

We would appreciate your teams’ support in encouraging students to participate. Submissions can be sent via this form which will be open until end-of-day Wednesday, November 27, 2024. Note, if we receive an unusually high volume of entries we may need to close the survey early, but we will notify you if this is the case.

Below are general submission guidelines, but you can find more information in the attached document that you can share directly with students.

Submission Guidelines

  • Students can create artwork digitally or by hand and submit a clear photo. Pathways is an inclusive organization so the artwork should appeal to people of any religion, faith, or culture.
  • The final submission should be a square image and a .JPEG file, with the file name saved under the student’s first name. Students should avoid having their last name directly on the artwork for privacy considerations.
  • Students can submit directly in the form, or you may submit on a student’s behalf but please remember to include the student’s email address when requesting the honorarium.
  • Artwork should be accompanied by a message from the student about the Pathways Program (between 50-100 words about either what the Pathways Program means to them, a favourite Pathways memory, or a note to Pathways supporters). This message doesn’t need to be on the artwork itself, just submitted through the form.
